The Hitting Lab provides access to the most technologically advanced pitching machines on the market including the iPitch Spinball and I-Hack Attack with pitch sequencing. The Hitting Lab is also equipped with state-of-the-art motion capture systems for hitting biomechanics analysis. Hitting development programs are available including individual lessons, bat speed and swing plane training and more. Memberships are the most efficient and cost effective training solution available including unlimited access to hitting tunnels and discounted programming.

MOTION CAPTURE and BIOMECHANICS

The Baseball Lab provides access to state-of-the-art marker-based motion capture technology for a complete analysis of all relevant kinematic and kinetic parameters. We measure the spatial and temporal aspects of movement during hitting including kinematic sequencing, rotational velocity, trunk angular velocity, trunk and pelvis tilt angles, pelvis angular velocity, bat swing plane, elbow flexion, supination angles, knee extension and many others.
