Tim Kamerzell, MD, PhD

Co-Founder, Instructor

Tim has over twenty years of coaching and athletic training experience at various levels. He is a member of the American Baseball Coaches Association and holds certifications in baseball from Driveline and USA Baseball. He has learned from international experts in pitcher development including Ron Wolforth at The Texas Baseball Ranch. Notably, Tim’s expertise as a physician and scientist brings a deep understanding of the science behind strength programming, nutrition, human anatomy and kinematics of human movement patterns. His proficiency in machine learning provides a unique opportunity for player development through the analysis of performance variables and the creation of models that enhance training efficiency and overall sport performance.

Kevin Reeves

Hitting Instructor

Kevin is one of the most accomplished hitting instructors and coaches in Kansas City. He is currently an associate scout for the Texas Rangers and private hitting instructor at The Baseball Lab. Kevin is a former scout for USA Baseball and member of the most comprehensive player identification program offered by USA Baseball. He has coached for over 20 years including stints as the head coach of the 17U USA Baseball Team and Team Kansas at the PBR Future GamesKevin has trained more than 100 hitters who have played at the collegiate or professional level.

Kevin was also a successful high school and college baseball player. He was an All-Sunflower League and All-State baseball player at Olathe North High School. After high school, he played baseball at two-time national champion Cowley County Community College and Northwest Missouri State University where he led the team in on base percentage, stolen bases and fielding percentage before being selected to the Ban Johnson Collegiate All Star Team.

Charlie Isaacson

Pitching Instructor

Charlie was drafted by the New York Yankees initially out of high school and again in 2002 after an illustrious collegiate career at The University of Arkansas. He was an All- American pitcher at Arkansas. In 1999, he went 9-0 in 14 starts with two complete games as a freshman. He pitched for nearly 5 years in professional baseball before an arm injury ended his career.

Orlando Underwood

Hitting Instructor

Orlando is passionate about coaching baseball at all levels. He has been a coach for over 10 years and is currently a high school baseball coach at Olathe Northwest. Orlando was a 4 year starter in high school earning first team All-Sunflower league and All-Metro. After a successful high school career, he played at Coffeyville Community College. Orlando is a 10 year Army veteran.

Michael Jacobs

Pitching Instructor

Michael has been an assistant high school baseball coach in the Kansas City area for the past decade with successful stops at Olathe West (2018-2023) and St. Thomas Aquinas (2011-2017, 2024-presents). He has also coached summer baseball with a variety of club programs including the Milgram Mustangs in the Ban Johnson Collegiate Summer League. He has a passion for helping kids and impacting those around him. Michael had a successful high school career while stacking numerous awards including the 2006 Kansas Pitcher of the Year and first team All-Metro, All-County and All-State. After high school, he was recruited to The University of Iowa where he played for four years including 19 appearances as a Freshman and 11 starts as a Sophomore the most of any Iowa pitcher.

Jimmy Wallace

Hitting and Pitching Instructor

Jimmy was drafted by the Kansas City Royals in 2003 out of high school (Louisiana) where he was a 3x All-State player and again in 2004 from Pratt Community College. While at Pratt, he was named the 2004 Jayhawks Conference Pitcher of the Year. Jimmy has dedicated his life to baseball, excelling as a player and making a tremendous impact as a coach and mentor to young athletes.

Aaron Schnurbusch

Hitting and Pitching Instructor

Aaron was drafted by the Chicago White Sox in 2016 after an outstanding career as a two way player at Johnson County Community College and The University of Pittsburgh. In 2013 and 2014 he led Johnson County Community College to the JUCO World Series and was named the Jayhawk Conference MVP and Pitcher of the Year. As a batter he was tied for the team lead in RBIs and hit .365.  Aaron was subsequently recruited as a two way player at The University of Pittsburgh (Pittsburgh, PA). In his first pitching appearance, he struck out 4 batters in 3.2 innings against Ohio State. He also had several multi-hit games against nationally ranked ACC opponents including Florida State, Miami and Clemson. Aaron was the Chicago White Sox farm system Prospect of the Month in July 2016.
