The pitching lab
The Pitching Lab provides athletes access to state-of-the-art technology at an affordable price. Athletes can now objectively measure and track critical parameters for improvements in pitch design and pitch development including ball flight (Trackman) and biomechanics (high speed motion capture). The Pitching Lab enables us to perform a complete analysis of a pitcher’s motor preferences and biomechanics that our instructors use to develop customized training programs aimed at reducing the risk of injury and enhancing performance. We offer memberships for the most efficient and cost effective training including discounts on motion capture and trackman analysis. Check out our velocity and complete pitcher development programs!

MOTION CAPTURE and BIOMECHANICS Analysis
The Baseball Lab provides access to state of the art marker based motion capture technology for a complete analysis of all relevant kinematic and kinetic parameters. We measure the spatial and temporal aspects of movement during pitching including kinematic sequencing, hip shoulder separation, trunk rotation angular velocity, elbow extension velocity, elbow flexion and varus torque and many others.
TRACKMAN BALL FLIGHT ANALYSIS
The Baseball Lab utilizes Trackman for complete ball flight analysis for pitch design and development. Athletes are provided with objective data including pitch speed, spin rate, spin axis, vertical and horizontal movement, ball flight trajectory, and release height. The data is used for improved performance and pitch design among other applications.
MOTION CAPTURE Technology for Biomechanics
The Baseball Lab provides access to state-of-the-art marker-based motion capture technology including 8 dual mode hybrid cameras capable of 810 fps. We provide a complete analysis of all relevant bio-mechanical variables for hitting and pitching. Our technology is identical to the several top collegiate and MLB pitching labs.
